Join us to celebrate the fall season and love for the oaks!

The Harvest & Acorn Celebration is an annual gathering dedicated to honoring the transition in seasons, to celebrate the bounty of the fall harvest, and to give special thanks to the oaks for their important role in the ecosystem. This is a free, family-friendly event including games, stories, & feasting. Weaving Earth and Edward Willie (Pomo/Walaiki/Wintu) will co-host the 2015 gathering in collaboration with the Friends of the Petaluma River on Saturday, November 14 from 3:00 – 9:30 PM at the David Yearsley River Heritage Center in downtown Petaluma, CA.

This event includes a community potluck. We invite you to bring seasonal dishes that are as locally sourced as possible!

After dinner, there will be an evening fire with stories, song and seasonal celebration.
